Exporting Alberta Award

This annual prize of $1000 for out-of-province book promotion will be awarded to a CAA Alberta Branch member/current contractor who has the best overall book published in 2018 (original publication year only, reprints in any format are not eligible). Books in all genres and formats, including self-published books, are eligible. Applicants must be CAA Alberta Branch members/current contractors. Authors can join the CAA Alberta Branch to compete for this prize. 

Submission Information

To enter, please mail or drop off your completed entry form,  four copies of your book, and the $25 entry fee by March 15, 2019:

Exporting Alberta Gala

The Canadian Authors Association - Alberta Branch's annual Exporting Alberta Award grants $1000 for out-of-province book promotion to the Alberta Branch member/current contractor who has the best overall book published in 2018. 

This year's awards ceremony includes a celebratory luncheon and awards ceremony, in addition to three 1.5 hour workshops from exceptional authors. 

The workshops will be lead by Kristine Kowalchuk, Nisha Patel, and Jason Lee Norman.
