Once in awhile every writer needs a workshop. It may be a refresher course, a new and innovative way of looking at style and structure, or just a good old hands-on, head down write. Our writers’ workshops are one of the foundational tools that keep us in tip top form. Alberta branch offers great monthly workshops at an incredibly low cost.
We continually bring in experienced writing professionals from across the country to share their knowledge and experience. From performance poetry to business writing, from erotica to the literary arts, the CAA has a kick-start workshop with your name on it.
Intimate and informative and always inspiring, writing workshops with some of Canada’s iconic instructors are the backbone of our programming.
While the one- and two-day workshops aren’t exclusively for our members, they do fill up quickly with members getting the first crack at limited seating.
