The CAA Alberta Branch offers monthly meetings, workshop opportunities and special events that allow emerging and established Alberta writers to engage with acclaimed authors from across Canada. We also celebrate members and literary artists at special and volunteer events.
When we meet
Unless otherwise designated, the last Friday (8 pm) and Saturday (9:30 am – 4 pm) of September, October, November, January, February, March, and April* and the last Friday in May. The Writers’ Circle begins at 6:30 pm before Friday meetings. The presentation in April 2013 with Karen Bass will take place on April 19th.
Where we meet
Meetings and workshops are held in the Holy Trinity Anglican
Church, 10037-84th Avenue (the corner of 84th Avenue and 101 street) in Edmonton.
Applicable fees
CAA Members attend Friday meetings free and pay $40 for Saturday workshops
Non-members pay $10 (first-time free) for Friday meetings and $70 for Saturday workshops
