EXPORTING ALBERTA AWARD: Congratulations Karen Bass

The annual Exporting Alberta Award, a $1000 prize given to a CAA Alberta Branch member/current contractor who has the best overall book published in 2013 (original publication year only, reprints in any format are not eligible), was awarded to Karen Bass for her YA novel Graffiti Knight. The prize money is to assist with out-of-province book promotion.Books in all genres and formats, including self-published books, are eligible. Applicants must be CAA Alberta Branch members/current contractors. Authors can join the CAA Alberta Branch to compete for this prize. The 2014 Exporting Alberta Award will begin to receive submissions in January; watch for more details to be released in November.
